| About Jill Campbell |
Jill Campbell is an award winning photographer and artist with several pieces
on permanent display in the United States and Spain. She also contributed a
piece to the Millennium capsule in Canada—one’s descendents will
see it in 2100 A.D.
She is also a psychologist and counselor for high risk adolescents and middle
school youth. Her ingenuity led to the development of Esteem Architecture, a
game used by school counselors to promote positive interaction and communication
between young people.
Jill has authored Lightning Bolt to Lightbulbs and Angrrr, anger management
tools currently used in several Michigan schools’ curricula. She was Michigan
Counselor of the Year 1999-2000, The culmination of many aspects of working
with youth to save not only emotional, but physical lives as well. She is also
a National Merit Scholar, an award offered to the top 1/2 of 1% of the nation's
scholars.
She has earned a B.A. in English and Social Science and an M.A. in Clinical
and Counselor Education from Michigan State University, with the Erickson Fellowship.
Jill also has extensive experience as a keynote speaker at seminars and conferences.
She created the Lansing Community College Foundation Scholarship in the name
of the most generous person she has known, her father.
Jill is passionate about values: truth, beauty and love, ans she is deeply involved
with people. She is determined, and never quits a project before it is accomplished.
She has overcome adversity, and lives to make dreams into goals.
She is an imaginative and creative facilitator of knowledge, teacher, and counselor. |
